Archaeology sits at the crossroads between many different disciplines: we use practical methods to find out about the past (like excavation), we have to know how to interpret the results of many natural sciences, but we also have to use social science skills to interpret all this data. In this workshop, we show how how archaeology can be used in activity-based learning that encourages students to use evidence and to reflect on wider social issues.
The workshop will be held in English.
